Golden Bridge held up by two giant stone hands at Ba Na Hills, Da Nang, crowded with visitors above the clouds, with the title Ba Na Hills Ticket Price: Cable Car & Combos

Ba Na Hills ticket price (2026): the basic Sun World Ba Na Hills ticket, which includes the round-trip cable car, the Golden Bridge, the French Village and Fantasy Park, costs 1,000,000 VND for an adult who is not a Da Nang resident (this is the rate foreign tourists pay), about $39 or ₹3,700. Children between 1 m and 1.4 m tall and seniors over 70 pay 800,000 VND. Children under 1 m go free, and children taller than 1.4 m pay the adult price. In 2026 one ticket is valid for 3 consecutive days if you upgrade it at the ticket office and register Face ID before your first entry.

Sun World calls these “reference prices”; the price at the counter or in the official booking system on your date is what counts.

Last checked: 25 October 2026. All prices come from the official Sun World Ba Na Hills website (sunworld.vn, which banahills.sunworld.vn now redirects to): the 2026 price-list article, the price board printed in it, the Ba Na by Night price board and the park’s home page (opening hours and FAQ). Nothing on this page comes from a personal visit. Prices are in Vietnamese dong (VND). The dollar and rupee figures are only a guide, worked out with Vietcombank’s exchange rates of 25 October 2026 (US$1 = 25,640 VND and ₹1 = 270.53 VND, transfer rates) and rounded; your card or money changer will use its own rate.

Sun World Ba Na Hills sells two price levels. “Da Nang citizens” get the lower rate after an ID check at the gate. Everyone else, called “non-local” or “for all of visitors” on the board, pays the higher rate. That includes foreign tourists and Vietnamese visitors from other provinces.

Who pays which price: height, age and Da Nang ID

  • Children are priced by height, not age. Under 1 m: free. From 1 m to 1.4 m: child price. Over 1.4 m: adult price. The official page does not say which band a child of exactly 1.4 m falls into, so ask at the counter.
  • Seniors: the senior price is for visitors over 70 years old.
  • Da Nang resident price: Sun World says staff check valid, original ID at the ticket gate before boarding the cable car, so you cannot use a friend’s Da Nang ID. For adults it accepts an ID card, a passport, or a household registration book together with a photo ID such as a driving licence. For children it accepts a birth certificate with a parent’s ID if the parent travels too, or a birth certificate with a student card with photo, a household registration book or a passport.
  • Foreign tourists pay the “non-local” price. Sun World does not list a separate foreigner rate.

What the Ba Na Hills ticket includes (and what costs extra)

According to Sun World, the basic ticket includes the round-trip cable car and entry to most attractions on the mountain: the Golden Bridge, the French Village, Moon Castle, Fantasy Park, the Le Jardin D’Amour flower garden and the spiritual area, plus the art shows and seasonal festivals. Each ticket also comes with a coupon you can swap for one of these: two 250 ml glasses of Sun KraftBeer at Ba Na 1901 Restaurant, a portion of French fries at Ba Na Brew House, or one French pastry at the Eric Kayser bakery (limited to 1,000 pastries a day).

Not included, according to the same page: the Debay Wine Cellar, the Light Interaction Area, the toboggan (alpine coaster), climbing, lucky games and the 10D cinema. Sun World lists these reference prices for the extras:

Extra (not in the basic ticket)Official reference price
Speed slide (alpine coaster)70,000 VND (about $3 / ₹260)

One ticket, three days (2026)

In 2026 Sun World runs a “1 ticket – 3 days of experience” programme: one ticket can be used on 3 consecutive days. The conditions on the official page are that you upgrade your 1-day ticket to a 3-day ticket at the Retail Ticket Office and register Face ID before your first check-in. Extras inside a combo, such as the buffet, can only be used once during the validity period. VnExpress reported on 1 January 2026 that the policy started on 1 January and lets visitors ride the cable car an unlimited number of times during the three days.

Ba Na by Night combo

The night combo is valid from 15:00 to 22:00 and costs 1,050,000 VND for an adult, 1,000,000 VND for a senior and 850,000 VND for a child, according to the official price board (one price for everyone, with no separate Da Nang rate shown). It includes:

  • a round-trip shuttle bus from Da Nang city centre: pick-up at 14:00 at the A1 waiting area, 2/9 Monument; return trips at 20:30, 21:30 and 22:30;
  • the round-trip cable car ticket;
  • a BBQ buffet dinner at Beer Plaza with 1 litre of Sun KraftBeer;
  • one alpine coaster (slide) ride;
  • the evening entertainment and art shows.

Sun World’s FAQ says this shuttle is the only shuttle it runs. Visitors on other tickets have to reach the park by taxi, Grab or motorbike.

Autumn 2026 offer for visitors aged 18 to 25

Sun World announced on 20 October 2026 a “FIRST 18–25” promotion, open only to visitors aged 18 to 25, until 31 December 2026: cable car ticket 500,000 VND, cable car + lunch buffet 800,000 VND, and cable car + dining voucher 750,000 VND. The announcement does not say how age is checked or whether foreign visitors qualify, so bring your passport and confirm at the counter or in the booking system before you count on it.

Opening hours, cable car times and the weather in October 2026

The park’s official page lists opening hours of 08:00 to 22:00 on weekdays, weekends and public holidays, with the note that “operating hours may change, please update before visiting the park”. Individual cable car lines run to their own schedules, and some lines open only at certain times of day.

Storm season: October to December is the rainy and storm season in central Vietnam, and the cable cars can stop in storms, strong wind or thunderstorms. As of 25 October 2026 we found no Sun World notice of a Ba Na Hills closure this month. Rain did shut other sights: the Son Tra peninsula was closed to visitors from 8 to 14 October 2026 because of the risk of landslides and flash floods. The local news site Life of Da Nang reported on 21 October that no storm was heading towards Da Nang, but that showers and thunderstorms were forecast again from Thursday 29 October. The national forecasting centre’s outlook for 25 to 31 October (reported by Tuổi Trẻ on 24 October 2026) mentions no storm, but it expects showers, thunderstorms and locally heavy rain on both sides of Da Nang: from Thanh Hoa to Hue from the night of 26 October to 29 October, and in the northern South Central Coast from 27 to 29 October. In the same season last year, storms in late October 2025 made many tour groups cancel or postpone Ba Na Hills trips (Báo Văn Hóa, 31 October 2025). Check the weather forecast from Vietnam’s national forecasting centre (nchmf.gov.vn) and Sun World’s official channels on the morning you go, and keep a spare day. That spare day is where the 3-day ticket helps.

Where to buy tickets, and other rules

  • Official channels: the ticket counters at the foot of the mountain, the Sun World booking site (booking.sunworld.vn) and the Sun Paradise Land app. Sun World advises buying only through its official channels.
  • Refunds: the official FAQ says “Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be changed”, while Sun World’s general refund policy describes a one-time date change or refund (as an e-voucher) within 5 days of the chosen start date for unused tickets bought through its channels. Read the conditions shown at checkout before you pay.
  • No outside food or drink: outside food and drinks have not been allowed since 1 October 2018.
  • Luggage: there is a luggage storage room at the entrance gate, open until the end of visiting hours.
  • Cashless payments: from 18 October 2026, Sun World is introducing WOW PAY, a QR-code payment system for shopping, food and services on the mountain.

How to get to Ba Na Hills from Da Nang

Sun World says Ba Na Hills is just over 20 km from Da Nang city centre, and the drive takes about 30 minutes. The official address is Ba Na Commune, Da Nang City, Vietnam (the night-combo board gives An Son Hamlet, Ba Na Commune). Apart from the night-combo shuttle, the park runs no shuttle bus, so most visitors arrive by taxi, Grab, motorbike or on a tour.

Prices you may see elsewhere (and why they differ)

  • Child price for the lunch-buffet combo: the official 2026 page and board show 1,000,000 VND for a non-local child. The tour company HoiAn Day Trip lists 950,000 VND on its tickets page (“updated January 2026”). We use the official figure.
  • Old cable car price: HoiAn Day Trip’s cable-car schedule page still quotes “900,000 VND for foreign adult” and “750,000 VND” for children 1–1.4 m. That is lower than Sun World’s 2026 price of 1,000,000 / 800,000 VND, and it appears to be out of date.
  • Agency and app prices: resellers often sell tickets bundled with transfers or at a discount. These are their own prices, not Sun World’s list price.
