Jalavihar is a water park on Necklace Road, beside Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad. The park’s official website lists the ticket price as ₹550 for anyone 3 feet tall or taller and ₹450 for children below 3 feet. Telangana Tourism lists the same prices, and so does the park’s own ticket listing on District, which was selling tickets at these prices in October 2026. The park is open every day from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the ticket counter closes at 6:00 PM.
Last checked: 8 October 2026, on jalavihar.in, the Telangana Tourism website and Jalavihar’s District ticket page (all listed at the end). This guide is not based on a visit. Prices and rules can change, so confirm them at the counter or at checkout before you go.
Jalavihar ticket price 2026

Jalavihar prices tickets by height, not by age. These are the prices on the park’s Tickets page:
| Ticket | Who it is for | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard entry | Anyone 3 ft (36 inches) tall or taller | ₹550 |
| Child entry | Children below 3 ft | ₹450 |
- The website does not list separate weekday, weekend, senior citizen or student prices. Ask at the counter if you think a discount applies to you.
- The prices on the website carry an asterisk (*), but the page has no note explaining it.
- You need a ticket even if you do not plan to go in the water. The park’s FAQ says you have to pay either way.
- Re-entry is not allowed. Once you leave, you need a new ticket to go back in.
- The park says no refunds are given because of bad weather.
If you searched for the 2025 price, it is the same. The ₹550 and ₹450 prices were already on the website’s Tickets page when it was last updated in April 2024, and they were still on sale in October 2026.
Booking online
The official website has no online booking. For group visits, it asks you to fill in its contact form. Jalavihar sells tickets on District, where the organiser is listed as Jalavihar Entertainment Private Limited. On 8 October 2026 that page had three tickets:
| District ticket | Price | What the listing says |
|---|---|---|
| Adult Entry | ₹550 | One person above 36 inches (3 ft); full-day access to all water rides, the wave pool and the rain dance floor |
| Kid Entry | ₹450 | One child below 36 inches (3 ft); same access |
| District Exclusive, Group of 4 | ₹2,000 (shown as ₹200 off ₹2,200) | Four adults above 3 ft; same access |
District’s terms say tickets cannot be refunded, even if you change the date, and you should carry a valid ID. The Group of 4 deal is a District offer and may end at any time. Neither the website nor the District listing says whether the dry rides (see below) are included in the entry price, so ask at the counter.
Jalavihar timings
| What | Time | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Water park | 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, every day | jalavihar.in (Tickets page and FAQ); Telangana Tourism |
| Ticket counter | 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM | jalavihar.in FAQ |
| Closed days | None. The park says it is “open all days” and open year-round | jalavihar.in |
Because the counter closes at 6:00 PM, arriving late in the afternoon leaves very little time in the water. The FAQ also says some rides may be shut for maintenance on any given day, so ask at the counter which rides are running before you pay.
Costume and locker rent
You must wear park-approved swimwear on the water rides and in the pools. If you do not have any, you can rent it inside the park. These are the rates in the park’s FAQ:
| Item | Rent | Refundable deposit |
|---|---|---|
| Swimming costume | ₹50 | ₹200 |
| Locker | ₹50 for every 4 hours | ₹200 |
The park says it is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings, so bring as few valuables as you can.
Rides and attractions
The park’s Rides page lists these attractions:
Water slides and water attractions
- Water Pendulum: a large U-shaped slide where riders swing up and down before coming to a stop.
- Tube rides: a raft for three to four people that slides through loops into a shallow pool.
- Twister: a feet-first slide through a series of twists and turns.
- Multi Line Racer: a three-lane slide where riders race each other.
- Crazy Ride: a body slide that ends with a big splash into the pool.
- DJ Rain Dance: a dance floor with water showers and music.
Pools
- Wave Pool: artificial waves, with a shallow end for small children and a deeper area.
- Ladies and Kids Pool: a pool for women and children with eleven play features, including a giant tipping bucket and a mushroom umbrella.
Dry rides
- Frog Hopper, Kiddie Train, Bull Ride (a mechanical bull), Trampoline Bungee Jump, Bumper Cars and Net Cricket.
The Rides page was last updated in 2016, and the District listing names only six rides (Wave Pool, Rain Dance, Ladies and Kids Pool, Twister Tube Ride, Float Ride and Multilane Mat Racer). So not every ride above may still be running. The park also says some slides have minimum height and weight limits but does not list them.
Dress code and park rules

- Women: swimwear, leggings, tights and T-shirts in nylon-based fabric. Salwar kameez and sarees are not allowed.

- Pregnant women, and anyone with heart, back, neck or joint problems, should not go on the rides.

- Wheelchairs are allowed, and the park says it has wheelchair facilities.
- Changing rooms, showers and all-day lockers.
- Food courts with several food stalls inside the park.
- Parking: the park says it has ample parking space. The District listing says parking is paid. No parking rate is published.
The same complex also has banquet halls for weddings and corporate events, and the park offers group packages for schools, families, tourists and companies. Prices for these packages are not published, so use the contact form on jalavihar.in to ask.
Location and how to reach Jalavihar

The address on the official website is 22/9, Necklace Road, Hussain Sagar, Hyderabad, Telangana 500063. Telangana Tourism places the park on Necklace Road beside Sanjeevaiah Park, along Hussain Sagar lake, in the Khairatabad area. Necklace Road is also called PV Narasimha Rao Marg, which is the street name on the District listing.
The park’s About page, written in 2016, mentions a free shuttle bus “in and around the necklace road”. We could not confirm that it still runs, so do not count on it. The park does not publish bus routes or metro directions. Use a map app to reach Necklace Road, or take a cab or auto to the Jalavihar gate.
The park’s Packages page suggests pairing a visit with nearby sights: Necklace Road, what it calls the biggest Indian flag, Telangana People’s Plaza and the Buddha statue in Hussain Sagar. For boat rides to the Buddha statue, see our guide to Hussain Sagar boating ticket prices and timings.
Best time to visit
The park is open all year, and its website does not recommend a season. Arrive close to the 11:00 AM opening if you want the most time in the water, and remember that the ticket counter closes at 6:00 PM. The park suggests choosing a meeting place and time for your group, because it pages guests only in a medical emergency.
