Ever since I can remember, travelling to Europe has always been a dream and exploring its countless landmarks, colourful history and cultures.
When I came across Thrillophilia, I was excited by their diverse offerings and positive Thrillophilia Reviews from fellow travellers. Therefore, I decided to embark on this adventure, eager to experience the wonders of Europe through their curated tours.
Planning and Booking
The first thing that struck me in the case of Thrillophilia was the simplicity with which I was able to manoeuvre through their site. With so many different types of tours on offer, finding the right European package was not hard at all. Also, I quite liked how the packages were presented. They have it all, be it extreme sports, cultural appreciation or a basic traveller who wants to see the popular tourist hotspots on the continent.
I chose their ‘Wonders of Europe’ package which included major capital cities like Paris, Rome, Amsterdam and Barcelona among others. The itinerary offered a bit of everything, guided tours, free time, and a dash of local experiences. The whole process of booking was smooth and I got rapid confirmations along with comprehensive guidelines which helped greatly to calm the butterflies in my stomach better known as pre-trip jitters.
The Itinerary
I had set off on my adventure in Paris, which could not have been any better. To start with, they had organised a cosy hotel which made it easy to marvel at the Eiffel Tower and explore the Louvre and Montmartre.
What I enjoyed even more was the fact that there were both guided activities and room for adjustments and flexibility. The half-day Paris tour was helpful, as we had sufficient time to go out in the evening and explore on our own. This gave me a chance to walk around the beautiful streets of Le Marais, eat some delicious French cakes and experience the nightlife as well.
After enjoying the sights of Paris, it was time to move to Rome. If Paris was a beautiful illusion, then Rome was a well-researched and lived history. The likes of the Colosseum to Vatican City are thoroughly praised in the Reviews of Thrillophilia. Also, the skip-the-line access which came with the package helped me reduce the number of hours wasted in queues, especially at busy sites like the Vatican Museums and St Peter’s Basilica, enabling me to enjoy the views with no worries whatsoever.
Amsterdam offers a refreshing break after the grandeur of Rome. The city’s numerous canals, streets conducive to cycling and a general easy pace made it one of my most memorable stops during the journey.
A canal cruise was organised by Thrillophilia that allowed us to enjoy the mesmerising view of the city from the water which was simply wonderful. We also managed to see the popular Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank House, both of which had quite an impact on me.
We ended our journey in the beautiful capital city of Catalonia, Barcelona. The Spaniard city was lively, colourful, and energetic. Thrillophilia’s arranged guided tour was great as it included masterpieces by the great architect Gaudi, to name a few, Sagrada Familia and Park Guell were simply out of this world. It was as if one had walked into a fantasy world.
The evenings, however, were free and thus we enjoyed tapas, and street shows, and walked around La Rambla. Thanks to the hotel selected by Thrillophilia, which was centrally located, making it easy to access all activities and attractions.

Accommodation and Transportation
The accommodations Thrillophilia reserved for us were all very comfortable and in very convenient locations, making it relatively easy to get into many of the major attractions. Each of the selected hotels aimed to provide a relaxing atmosphere that complemented the overall vibe of the trip.
Transport between cities was well-organised and often train or private transfers were provided. This made travelling from one end to another not stressful at all, so I could enjoy it.
Local Guides and Experiences
One of the best features of the journey was the local guides, which Thrillophilia had arranged throughout the entire trip. The local guides narrated interesting stories that provided cultural context and added personal anecdotes that helped me to connect with each place I visited. Be it for a traditional flamenco dance in Spain or while wine tasting in Tuscany, the intention was always to connect me with the culture and traditions.
Final Thoughts
Reflecting on my European trip, I can confidently say that Thrillophilia surpassed my expectations. From the simple booking process to well-organised itineraries and knowledgeable guides, everything was handled perfectly.
