Auschwitz ticket price: admission to the grounds of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial is free of charge. Every visitor still needs a personalised entry pass, and from 1 March 2026 those passes are available only online at the official booking site visit.auschwitz.org — they are not sold at the Museum entrance. A fee is charged only when you book a visit with a Museum guide-educator (plus headset rental on guided tours). On the official Entry Pass Price List valid from 2 January 2026, a regular individual guided tour is PLN 140 in Polish or PLN 150 in another language; reduced individual passes are PLN 130 / 140.

Last checked: 7 November 2026 against auschwitz.org/en/visiting, the individual-visitors page, the Tours options page, visit.auschwitz.org FAQ / home notices, the Entry Pass Price List PDF (valid from 2.01.2026), and Museum news on the March 2026 online-only rule. Prices are in Polish złoty (PLN). This page is a planning summary, not a personal visit claim, and it is written with the solemnity the Memorial asks of visitors.

What the individual guided tour includes

An individual language tour lasts about 3.5 hours and starts at former Auschwitz I. The price includes the guide-educator, headset rental, and Museum transfer between Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. The Tours options page also lists individual guided tours as about 3 hours 45 minutes — confirm the duration shown in your booking. Visits by children under 14 are not recommended. Dress and behaviour should match a place of remembrance.
